James Ellis is an MSc-educated nutritionist and master health coach with more a decade of experience in the field of nutrition and wellness. Specialising in women's health, particularly in the area of perimenopause, James has helped countless clients navigate this important life stage with personalised coaching, nutrition plans and lifestyle support. His passion for helping women achieve optimal health and vitality stems from being surrounded by strong women from a young age and from wanting his twin daughters Martha & Gracie to grow up in a world where gender is not a barrier at any time of life. James is a keen amateur cook, which is where his friendship with Jason stems from, and is also a keen ultramarathon runner.


Jason Shaw is a professional chef with more than 30 years of experience working with some of the biggest names in the culinary world, including Gordon Ramsay and Marco Pierre White. He has honed his skills to create not only delicious but also nutritious meals that cater to various dietary needs and preferences. As a co-founder with James of Elevated Food For Life, Jason shares his expertise in creating simple, healthy, and flavourful recipes that are both accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Jason has two children, Arabella and Christian and is passionate about giving them the healthiest dishes possible. He is an executive director for a number of companies and a keen rugby fan who volunteers for his childhood club Ilkley RFC.
